| These 2 male lions have been fighting for dominance on the reserve for the last few weeks. Watching them run towards us and feeling the energy in the air and knowing what I was about to witness, gave me goose bumps! |

| The sounds coming from the lions were amazing! Nothing like I've ever heard before. |

| The oldest lioness came out to try and help defeat the intruder. |

| It lasted a maximum of 60 seconds, but it felt like it went on for hours! |

| Battle wounds from one of the lions. He later tried to lie down but he was so sore he couldn't find a comfortable position and ended up just standing around watching the lioness and her 2 cubs, keeping a watchful eye out for the other male. |
